Auto fd swap ?

Hi I am looking at a automatic fd rx7 and I was wondering what it will take to swap a manual t56 transmission with a ls. Basically I was wondering if I can get a clutch pedal assembly into an automatic car.
Thanks

Yep its possible. I did the same swap to mine. Good luck sourcing the pedals. took me 2 months, could have been bad timing though.

the mounting points are already on the car. The hole for the clutch slave has a cap on it. Just remove the cap and the clutch and brake pedal will bolt right in. You did get the manual brake pedal? The auto pedal will not work with the clutch its too wide.

Can I use stock clutch master cylinder from a manual fd or do I need a different cylinder. Also do I need the automatic stock 13b engine harness for anything.
Thanks

I think you should probably do some build thread reading, most of this is well documented.

You will need a new clutch master. The harness is a maybe. There are some connectors that can be used to make the V8 harness more plug and play.

You don't need the rotaries engine harness at all for the swap. Using an auto fd isn't really much any different than using a 5speed fd roller. Slightly different dash harness and the rpm gauge difference but it's not a big deal. Read up on norotors.com it seriously has all the info you will need for the swap.
And samberg is the way to go for the swap mounts etc, and they have a legit radiator setup for the swap. Kinda pricey, but it's seriously a nice piece.
