Anyone have an FD pinion they can measure?

Ray over at torquecentral.com thinks he might have found a lower numerical gearset (3.73 from a 929) that will work in an FD pumpkin. He has checked and the ring gear from a fits, but needs to know some measurements from an FD pinion gear. Does anyone have one available that they can measure so we can see if they will fit? Hopefully they will because 3.73's would be a really nice addition for a lot of the FD swappers.
