Hi My freind just got a 91 rx7 turbo model with a blown engine. I also just got a 1977 impala with rearend damage. The engine is a 400 sbc punched to a 406 with all forged internals. I think it has a th350 tranny and stock posi rearend will this drivetrain work in the rx7 as like a drag car. Also the rx7 I guess is an automatic. How many other things do you need to do the swap we have both we are able to use any part off of. What other things do you need? Thanks!

 

A granny's deluxe kit is pretty much all you need for that swap. Do some searching, there are dozens (if not hundreds) of SBC FCs running around.
