Streetported S5 TII engine, T04e, E8, 15psi, 360 wheel!

Welp, finally got my trailing ignition in which allowed a lot more boost and RPM as well as better tuning. thanks to the trailing igntion i made an extra 80rwhp and an extra 5mpg freeway! cant complain about more power with less gas! boost falls off a bit towards the end, but im only using a manual boost controller. Im gonna get the haltech electronic one soon so hopefully i can hold 15psi all the way 8000 and make some good pow-ah. anyway turbo is a T04e, mystery hotside, probably around a .86 or so, tial 44mm wastegate, E8, 550 primaries 1600 secondaries. ebay homemade front mount, koyo rad, other stuff i forget. Air temps were getting kind of high so i think on the street (where they stay lower) its actually making even more power. also, boost response is amazing, im hitting full boost by 3000 and it holds it nearly all the way to redline. ANYWAY heres the graph.

and two pictures of the turbo turd just for fun:

so you have no trailing spark or you playing with your ignition and found 80 more hp...thats pretty extreme.

what fuel injectors are you running. I would love to look at your ignition map. I have my fuel dialed in on my E6K but it seems to die up top like its ignition problems.

what are the inducer/exducer sizes of the comp?

you are probably just running out of compressor on top and that is why you are loosing boost towards the end

are you serious? you gained 80hp just from adding your trailing ignition back in? i don't use the trailing plugs due to my second ignition box dying, but i don't think i'm really losing too much....... or am i? haha

i honestly forget, its written down somewhere in ohio. I do remember that we measured mine and a turbo we know to be a T04e and they were identical. I think the problem is the wastegate is open too much at high RPM. the tiny manual boost controller cant bleed off enough air. If i get a Haltech EBC and i can close the wastegate a little more up top i can hold 15 all the way to 8k.

split timing i honestly forget as well, ill check when i get the chance.

as far as the trailing plugs go, before they werent working with the E8. because of this, i couldnt rev past like 7000. The plugs just couldnt ignite all that stuff going on, they were like fouling or something, it was bad. also, i had less boost, only around 10-11psi. With trailing, i can rev all the way to 8k, and rev all the way there with 15 psi. It also allowed more precise tuning. These combined gave me an extra 80rwhp and also bumped me up to 20mpg freeway from 15mpg. trailing rocks.
