so i dynoed my car......

i dynoed MY 88 Turbo II RX-7 recently shes got 130K and 92-95 compression on all faces both rotors turbo has NO shaftplay at all......all i have done is this:

(Custom side exit exhuast 2.5inch(is helps control the boost from boostcreep since im poor.....(its coming off since all the ricer SRT-4 guys use it sounds amazing though....and i have decided to get 3 inch open strait back...)

ported waste gate(just to outside of the stock flapper)
hitting about 9.5-10lbs

ported&semi poslished the turbo exhust ports

strait tube intake W/MAF (still in the works is the aluminum enclosed airbox)

also all emissions removed...and blocked (i fabbed up blockoff plates out of aluminum)

Super AFC (5 ****) with Pen & paper tuning i did myself....

mazdaspeed pressureplate
RB clutch

BLOWN suspention (KYB's on the way!!!!! GOTTA SAVE FOR THE GC's!!!)
completely gutted(obviously also NOT a power adder)

Greddy type S dump valve(obviously NOT a power mod)

Tahts it....essentialy i got ALL the after market parts used and i havent acually dumped money into her.....the exhust cost me 40 bucks its cheap and holds up great i needed it side exit restrive so i can control my boost and it keeps me right where i want to be...before i had the open cat......and it would creep to 12 & 13 i dont have the fuel mods for that yet...hence the restrictive exhuast....

plans...keep her running as is...finish the suspent

and finally here is the sheet

Looks like you're running kind of lean from 5k to 6.5k, ~13AFR's isn't the best for a turbo car running 10 lbs of boost...

I didn't see any fuel mods, not the best idea. At 10psi I'd hope to see you running at least a better fuel pump.

yes i want to get a fuel pump at least because i want to redo all the fuel lines to steelbraided and AN fit the fuel rails and convert the fuel system the way its on Fc3spro...jsut want to do everything all at once...right now im installing the FD diff and fabbing the airbox...so it can look clean in the engine bay....

239rwhp is ******* GREAT for being self-tuned, and only at 10psi!

It's not great if it wont last... Having ~13 A/F ratios from ~5k to 6.5k isn't exactly a good idea with boost.

Ok so you've gotten lucky so far, do you really want to continue to risk it?

I ran 10 -15 psi (unported wastegate) on an open intake & exaust with walbro fp, fpr, SAFC-2, act pp & clutch rteck stock ports but didn't take it to the dyno. I expected more or less your whp numbers but decided to play it safe. Opened the motor ported rebuild the engine ( housings and irons were ok thank god) getting bigger injectors and a bigger turbo with I won't install untill a have the supporting mods tu run it. anyways great numbers but don't run it like that for long or you might regret it.

Ditto. If you run too lean you'll be lucky for a while with no effect. Then it'll knock and you'll kiss your seals and engine goodbye. Most likely when the intake air gets hot.

Barely stock, was the main thing I was trying to figure out. A "barely stock s4" was the phrase you used. What does this mean? Is j-rat running a "barely stock s4"? His motor/ports are stock....and that's about it. So, is that barely stock?

The original question just didn't make any sense.

Now, keeping the stock turbo, and stock ports on the motor (which is what it looks like you're asking now) I'd say MAX whp will be around 250-260 which will last for just a handfull of dyno runs before the turbo dies.
