MY S4 Turbo Dyno 191.4HP 174.9 Ft-lb
Took my car to a local dyno day Saturday morning and I am quite pleased with the results
I had figured I should have about 200HP at the wheels with my light modifications.
Car is as follows:
88 Turbo
RotaryResurrection Street port
3" TID, HKS Hard Turbo->TMIC pipe w/Greddy type S BOV
Rtek 1.7 w/720cc secondaries, Walbro fuel pump, Smog pump/ACV/EGR removed
SSAUTOCHROME tubular SS replacement for factory manifold, Stock downpipe, custom midpipe with MAGNAFLOW converter, RB NONTURBO catback
Runs were made at stock boost level, 6-8psi during the run.

Dyno sheet

The runs start at 3000RPM. Interestingly, the run ends at 6700RPM which was an indicated 7000RPM on the stock tachometer. Don't know if the error is with the car or the dyno
Somehow, I bet its the stock gauge.
It's too bad the first run was incomplete, I think it would of broke 200HP on the first run. The dyno shut down at 5700RPM on that run.
Here's a sheet of the 1st run overlayed on the 2nd run

Next on the agenda is getting a wideband to accurately gauge if there is enough fuel to up the boost. I don't trust the dyno's A/F readout.
After that, it's time to port the wastegate and get rid of the factory downpipe.

sweet man i like it im hoping for some good power outa mine it sounds like you have a nice set up... i need to finish mine its a 87 tii motor large street 720 primarys 62-1 turbonetics 50mm wastegate atkins rebuild hks fcon 3" turbo back with high flow cat im almost done ill let you know what i make after i get it borke in nice vid though man
keep in mind Dynomite dynos are actually one of the most accurate dynos, most other dynos read high where these dynos actually read more realistic figures. a mustang dyno for example would probably give you a reading of 220WHP.
(this all assuming they are using the correct calibration figures versus skewing them to make their customer's more happy)
i do most of my tuning on one of these dynos, while they do read low they are very accurate. a bone stock S5 n/a makes 137WHP on it at sea level, which is why we call it "the dream crusher".

Yes its a stock replacement for a s4. No twin scroll with this. Flanges are decent but the piping is thin. It as replaced with a stocked after it burned through where the pipes come together at the flange. Having it rewelded and will have it up for sale soon.
