do you have a fuel cut defender?

if you dont have the FCD no boost controller will let you get past 9 psi.

stock ECU has a "safety device" to prevent over boost.

Its alright, everyone's got to start somewhere. Keep working on the launch, you should be able to get it down to below 2.1 60' with even halfway decent tires.

i have a rtek, so no FCD. and a MBC,just could not get it to set where i wanted it to and i just got 4 runs in allnight so i could not play with it that much. anyone know if left is more boost or right? and what rpm do you launch at? i was launching at 3000. every one was saying the track was really slippery, so i guess that might be why i could not get a decent launch maybe........

Yeah, you sure do suck.

Almost the same mods is when I hit my 13.4 @102. Are you still using your stock turbo inlet duct? If so, that's killing you...

As said above...just practice your launches. Maybe it's time for a little suspension work. I was able to cut 1.9's on stock suspension and street tires though...so just keep practicing.

Is there an aftermarket mfg that sells hard turbo inlet ducts? Or is it just a matter of buying bulk aluminum piping? Mines sh*tty stock plastic ribbed

Oh, and by the way, do you guys shift into 4th before the traps or leave it in Third? My dumbass shifted into fourth every time and now im regretting it (considering other Rx's with similar setups have similar times but faster trap speeds...)... unless you guys think otherwise

Since that's the cold side of the turbo, I just went to true value (home depot) and got a rubber 3" coupler, and a 2"-3" reducer and a piece of 3" pipe just a few inches long and made my own TID. WAY less restrictive than the stock pipe....BUT, it opened up so much, that I'd recommend a way to tune your fuel, because it'll need more fuel when you're pushing that much more air in.

As far as the 3-4 shift at the 1/4 stripe....what you need to do is make more power so you're not hitting 92-93 mph at the 1/4 stripe. It seriously sucks when you're out of your powerband, but you know that if you shift it'll be a waste. Been there guys...but 102 I was able to keep it in 4th for a bit.

Ah, I was wondering if you were in fourth...
And yes, i agree, I've been holding off on puttin a 3" side exit because i know itll overboost even more, risking my motor even more. Just planning ahead, as soon as I get my wide band, TID and side exit are next
