Much more impressed!

A while back I posted some times that were kind of depressing at 15.75 in the 1/4 mile, and I think 7.45 0 - 60.

I'm glad to say after weight reduction, new tires, and a couple engine tune up items, (spark plugs, etc.) I posted a time of 15.02 in the 1/4 mile at 94.4 mph and a 0 - 60 of 6.65s. I can't remember what my 60 ft was. As soon as it's sunny out again I'll be out on our deserted highway at my favorite spot doing some more runs, and I'll post all the good stuff.

I own an 86 GX-L
Mods so far are ported, racing beat header and pre-silencer, modified airbox with k&n air filter, and removed my clutch fan. I'm doing the timing with my Beltronics performance meter. I saved about 120 pounds removing my stereo equipment (never used it anyways), spare tire, and removed my exhaust from my presilencer back.

Sounded like one angry lawnmower.

whoa all that stuff and still going that slow I have a time slip I kept from my old N/a that I spent no more then 30bucks modding and then all the basic repairs it had 106k on it and I ran a 15.3 in the 1/4 with 110 in it.

You really should go to a real race track and get some real time slips and then post them.

You put 110 race gas in to run a 15.3? Was that necessary?

I live in the middle of nowhere, I think the nearest track is about 8 hours away. The nearest drag strip is about 2-3 hours away. Working full time and weekends gives me no time to travel. I'd love to get real time slips, but I don't really have that option.
