This was a street tire launch, 255 50 R 17 Yokohama ES 100s.. I nailed a 1.85 60 foot on the next pass but I blew an IC hose before the 2-3 shift..
DANG, nice times. time for some jacobcartmill porting and a real non-junk turbo

Damn 1.8 60ft is crazy.
What's with your diff mount? Welded?pinion snubber?comp?

Go through or around the waterbox? Rpm's? 2step? slip clutch?

I need to learn how to launch on my new tires. Especially since I just replaced the damn diff mount.

Diff mount is a Mazda Comp, no pinion snubber. I go through the water box and burn for about 15 seconds. 5000rpm launch on the 2-step with slight clutch slip.

Awesome times man. I've never run a full 1/4 mile but our 1/8th mile times are real, real close. I think I ran an 8.07@92 mph. My 60' time was like 2.1 or something stupid like that. Awesome job from a hybrid--I was running a full t4 T04e untuned@10 psi. That would have been awesome to see a race between our two cars both being 10ae's and running nearly identical 1/8 mile times. too bad you would have had like three cars on me out of the hole

Jake knew he couldn't hang so he gave up and went with a lighter faster car with easier potential.
