Has anyone ever hit 12's on the stock turbo?
And intercooler, clutch for that matter? Just wondering because I'm heading out to the track tomorrow with drag radials hoping for great things. Previously I ran a 13.4@107mph with a horrible 2.2 60'. I know I have enough mph for mid to high 12's if I get the launch down. I just hope the clutch can hold for atleast one run. So yeah has anyone ever done this before?

how much boost are you running...im sure its possible...i have seen quite a few low 13-sec passes people have had on street tires and decent 60' times...like you said if you have the drag radials and a great 60' then a 12.9 could be in ur grasp.....

I'm running 11psi on a stock turbo/intercooler/clutch. My car is really gutted though, with only a driver seat and a dash.
Here is a good pic of the interior. http://www.talon007.com/SIR/HPIM0459.JPG

Yes, it's possible, but very hard to do.
Like you said, you need almost the perfect launch.
Rule of thumb, for every 0.1 second drop in the 60', you drop 0.2 seconds in the 1/4-mile.
So if you nail a 2.0 60', theoretically, you should drop 0.4 seconds in the traps.
This would give you your 12.999.
Good luck!

Not a good day to say the least. I pretty much grenaded the clutch and barely made it home. Ran a 14.0 @ 101mph easily shifting into every gear and the clutch still slipped. So then I went for broke, launched high and was off. 1st gear slight slippage, bang 2nd, wow tons of slippage, bang 3rd....Go nowhere. The clutch was slipping so bad I could barely get rolling out of 1st gear. I just barely made it back to the shop. Oh well, Time to upgrade I guess.
