first time @ the track.not happy.
Well to start off i get to e-town in nj and its too windy so they are only running 1/8 miles. my first run i didnt know what to expect (damn it was fun). and i ran:
r/t .247
60' 2.414
330 6.291
1/8 9.447
mph 79.84
2nd run i had alil more know how. burnout sucked, and my launch was ok.
r/t .525
60' 2.384
330 6.340
1/8 9.480
mph 79.96
3rd run the burnout and my launch felt really nice but look @ those r/t's.
r/t .657
60' 2.188
330 6.114
1/8 77.95
now my mods are lg streetport, 880 pri, 1600 sec, fpr, walbro, microtech (shitty tuned), fmic, stock beat up turbo(sounds like a siren) 14psi 1st, 14psi 2nd, 7psi 3rd, 3" rb turbo back, koyo, and some others i might be missin.

the first one my burnout sucked.i tried to slip the clutch at about 3500rpm's.
the second alil better burnout but not that good. dumped the clutch at 3500.
the last run my burnout was nice and i warmed the tires up real good. same thing dumped the clutch at 3500.i thought it felt pretty good (compared to my others at least).
should i dump the clutch at a higher rpm?
what is 330?

don't dump the clutch. period. it will cause more damage in the long run, especially if you have higher hp numbers. I would suggest you rev up to about 4000ish and as you launch, let out the clutch pedal at a reasonably fast rate, but not all at once. You want to feel the engagement of the wheels and tranny. you cant just dump it, the weight wont shift properly and you will spin the wheels too much. Your 60' foot time should be well under 2.0 with the mods you have. you could even get under 2.0 with street tires with a good launch. take someone with you who knows how to drive well, have them explain as they drive their car. rx7's arent the easiest to launch either, but keep at it. don't break your drivetrain or clutch and don't do burnouts in street tires, leave that for the stickies.

Um, get your turbo fixed...and get it tuned. Those trap speeds are pretty friggin' horrible for your mods. I was hitting 82 on stock ports, stock turbo, stock fuel pump, and only 720's as bigger injectors. Then...learn to drive.
