Dyno 475rwhp lightly mod'd T2

Here is the Dyno sheet from when BDC and I took the car to the dyno a while ago. This is on the a BDC Spec C half Bridge port.

475rwhp
382rwtq

we went back 2 weeks later again and busted out 499rwhp and 399rwtq we changed the timing and timing split also cleanned up the map.

What turbo are you currently using? those are impressive numbers. i am assuming that these numbers are on race gas?

wow... between 4.5k and 6.5k you must be hanging on for dear life... it's too bad the torque curve can't be flatter.

I dont know where you got 1.5 bar on T04. the most I ran on the T04 1bar. the turbo that we made 499 on was S300.

we even had a wastegate control line pop off and boost spike to 1.8bar during the dyno tuning. with no problems to the motor.

I think you might be confusing BDC's setup with mine. B did my motor.

I dynoed 447 at 14psi on the T-66

Here is some pics of my car.

maybe i was. i just know that he did a t66 and it was impressive. is that 447hp on pump gas? i have considered this turbo and if you got those numbers out of it then it may help my decision. do you have a dynosheet?

what are your other mods?

Nope not Brian's car.

He did the motor on it.

It was done on 108 gas. It has a halfbridge motor.

No, we used 108 as I wrote above. But the timing on the car is very conservative. I only ran 108 for safety reasons. At 10 psi it made 370 running a mid 10 afr. That is what I was drving the car at on a daily basis. (80-90 miles a day)

"Lightly modded" ??? I never thought of MY car as that, and I'm fairly close to your mod level. LOL.

Nice numbers, Tony. I hate you.

was thinking the same thing.....kinda funny tho, he's making twice the HP than me and I am running 20psi. Stock turbo, IC and injectors aren't helping me either.

Wow beautifull numbers!!! nice car... well I got a question.. A while ago I was going to drop in the 13b re in my vert. Now I see that you have that engine, not sure if youre using it, sitting around. Is there an advantage in building the re vs. tII ? Down here I got a good deal on the engine and since a ecu isnt a problem I wouldnt mind subbing the re for the TII that I currently have if its a better buy. Thank you for your input.

Yeah I have a cosmo engine thats is almost ready to built up for the next car. I cant wait till we can start on that project.

right now the we changed the size and shape of the ports on the T2 motor and also changed from 89 - 91 style turbo rotors to the low compression 87 - 88 turbo rotors. the motor is rebuilt and should be installing it this weekend.

here is a few pics

here is lastest update on the cosmo motor

alll I got to say is "wow". I love the way the powder coated manifolds came out. Also as to the question that I asked you earlier. What is a better engine to build TII or re ?
