BNR turbo dyno sheets please.

I should be throwing it on a dyno the weekend after this one coming up. Ive been having a lot of problems with my haltech and my ignition system, Im fairly certain ive fixed it so hopefully. My car has been down way to long, I couldnt even take it to Sevenstock :/. Ill keep you guys all posted though. Brian over at BNR is extremely helpful as well. Hell answer any questions you have for the turbos and will make you some recomendations according to your goals.

Thanks for the business guys. I love these cars just like you do. As for the stage 1, just sell it and get some money for it, find a core and send it to me. You'll get the most out of it if you do.
I want to get to racing my 1st gen car I built a few months ago, but I haven't had time to do the brakes, diff, wheels/tires... Here it is if no one has seen it...

Nice vid Bryan!
There a couple of shots of my car right at the end of this video running a BNR stage 4 at 10psi boost on 245mm wide Toyo RA1.
As you can see you have to slowly ease on the throttle to get it to hook up exiting corners in 2nd at ~3,500rpm.
The engine was only running 1 leading plug but both trailing at the time, that is why the engine note is flat/quiet and it was down on power It is all better now
On the street I run higher boost since it hooks up pretty well in a straight line in 2nd . I have to be the only person that turns the boost down to race, lol.
I do plan to dyno tune it before next season.

I have a stage II S5 on my T2. I am going to dyno it really soon. I couldn't figure out the stumble during transition with the Rtek chip so I parked the car. Its been collecting dust for a year now and I recently found out that the glitch was fixed in the revised Rtek chips. I purchased the chip, now I have to put it in and go to the dyno.

Hey Bryan, the dyno sheet I posted surprised the hell out of me considering that I have really low compression numbers on the front rotor. Had the Mazda dealer I trust put it on the rotary specific comp. tester. Rear rotor was fair but the front
was less than 5 on two faces..............and It is still putting 275RWHP down at
10 - 12 psi on a Dynomax Dyno. I'm running the RTek 1.8 and four 750cc injectors. Surprisingly enough it looks like the bug in the RTek chip missed me as I have not had any stumbling at transition to secondaries.
My front rotor was the victim of my running to low on fuel and sucking air right as I crossed the finish line at the track. Luckily I was already letting off the throttle so it still runs just has a steady miss. Kevin Landers to the rescue for the motor and I`ll get rid of the unsprung clutch for something a little more comfortable on the street but still drag strip compatible.
My winter down time started a little early this year.........oh well.

Hey Brian, have you been able to stop the dreaded boost drop in high rpms, which highflows are renown for, with the stage 4?

The reason for that drop is the factory actuator hasn't got enough spring pressure to hold the flapper valve closed. When you are making more power/running more boost, the backpressure between the engine and turbo push against the flap valve therefore blowing the door open. The common fix for that is either adding an external spring or replacing the actuator with a higher boost actuator.

But if all it is, is the actuator than that sounds like a much easier way to fix the prob rather than maching down the exh wheel which has been suggested to me.
Can you fit the adjustable actuator rod that ive seen on HKS turbos, that you adjust the thread on the rod to set maximum boost pressure instead of fancy electronic boost controllers?
I wish i had the cash at the moment to ditch my small highflow & get you to build me one, but i guess thats what happens when your building a house

another question? and dont flame this but what kinda of power would one be looking to get out a a good size street port and the stage 4 @15 psi?
since the webpage for bnrs doesnt rate power with street ports

well my goal is 400 whp and my motor is put together well by kevin landers all new parts and housings. it handles the stage 1 like a cougar(hot older lady) handles a 17 yrs old boy... that said my motor cant wait for the bigger turbo, its like the turbo cant keep up with the motors breathing abilties? it wants more.......
but also that was a cosmo motor with some kinda fierce porting..especially if you are worried about seal crashing in to it .....
any one know what apex seals he used?
