Hey hey hey

I did say sreet driven and registered, but not legal .

80% of highly modified cars round the world would not be "street legal"

Well, if you get technical, mine isn't Virginia state street legal either. But it's close.

I have to say I love the fact that you welded your rad to eliminate 50% of the fail points in the coolant hose department. That would have saved me and Kevin Landers a day when we fabbed up some **** to make my cross flow rad fit. I plan on doing that this summmer. Also where did you get the purple ring around the turbo? I see that often and would like to pick one up.

If you're talking about the ultra short (flexible) hose section, this is not recommended on a street vehicle with stock-type engine mounts.

For race cars running solid motor mounts, it's alright due to zero flex from the engine.

The radiator hoses are designed to flex when the engine rotates.
Longer the hoses, the less stress on all components.

Oops, thought he had swapped out the entire rear susp with the diff.

Who cares if it's street legal, as long as it's registered is all that matters

That's sweet. I have to disagree on the 19's though. They're too big and don't look right.

Well done on running the low 9!!!
I look forward to seeing you run high 8's soon!
I'll have to be there next time to get the beast on camera.

It's funny how people freak out when they see that thing on the street!

PS - When are we going to finish putting my car together so we can both cruise?

Its a HKS product, im surprised they aint popular in the U.S. Its a bellmouth which is designed to improve airflow. You see similar things on top of N/A injection or webers.

They are Weld Prostar rims 15x3.5 up front
15x8 on the rear. The rear has 5inch backspacing.
Tyres are Mickey Thompsons 24x4 ET Drag front runners and 26x8.5 ET Drag slicks

These are also known as velocity stacks for turbos for better airflow if you run your turbo open like that, but alot of people use intake filters around here.

Beautiful car!
Yup that 26B actually ran a 8.884 not long ago. Rotaries are very popular here in Australia.
