i believe it kinda, I have seen a few fc's(edit: stock port, stock turbo) in central florida run in the mid-high twelve range, just not on 9 psi. 15 psi and I would believe it. I ran a 12.84 on 555r's, stock ports, 880 secondaries, stock turbo@15-16 psi, 3" turboback just pipe no muffler, no emissions, act sprung six puck, and microtech lt10 tuned by me.

what i meant to say is "and wut i should be running low 12's high 11's with my setup" i was being sarcastic considering i have a much more extreme setup than this guy and he ran 12.6 trust me i know it takes about 400 or more hp to makes those #s sorry for the confusion you guys are alittle harsh if ud notice i was saying that there is no way this guy ran these times and if youd notice in my first post i said i have to be doing somthing wrong but any way rtek is awsome from what ive seen i was only using it for about 3 monthes to breakin my engine now the cars back under the knife.

Complete Bullshit. There is absolutly no way. He even said he wasnt running much boost.
My fc, which is about as modded as you can go on stock turbo, would trap 108mph. And thats with intake, exhaust, fmic,standalone, tuned by steve kan at 13psi. And of course all other mods. Fuel, fan etc. I didnt get a chance to dyno, because my brakes in the back wouldnt work on the dynopak. But to trap 108 i think im right around 270ish. The best i ran on STREET TIRES was a 13.58. And that was off a 5k launch and spinning through first. There is absolutly no way he is a FULL second faster than me, with less mods. What an idiot.

Unfortunately, the word "tuning" and a STOCK ECU that was made for a NATURALLY ASPIRATED car don't work together.

PS: ZBrown's car is ridiculously fast for the (albeit approximate) numbers he is making. He is an example of how it's all in the tuning. Hell, any car in full street trim making less than 400 horsepower that is in the 11s is damn impressive.

PPS: Whatever "tuning" you could have theoretically done (I don't think it's possible anyway in street trim?) will ensure that your engine will have about a 2,000 mile life span.

Why don't you just post your slip? Nobody's going to believe you until you do. Did you "lose" it? Calling out everybody else and insulting their cars isn't proof you ran a 12.6.

All I said is he dissapeared and isn't able to back it up with a slip. I wouldn't say I do not believe you, but hey, I am not the one making a 12.6 1/4 mile run.

 

I don't know what your uncle has to do with this. In all honesty, I can't even decipher what you're saying.

The point, rotatech, is that I think you're full'a **** until I see a slip-- just like everyone else. If you really did run a 12.6, congratulations, that's pretty crazy... but get the damn thing tuned correctly (ie: STANDALONE, I don't care what "tricks" you did to your N/A ECU, it's going to be the death of that engine sooner than later).

Furthermore, quit calling people's cars slow. They're not slow. In fact, they're pretty fast... but it's not always about being fast, it's about having fun modifying your car and blowing engines and rebuilding them and tuning and modifying some more and, every once in a while, proving to yourself that the money and time you've been spending is worth it. Your car isn't the fastest, and it never will be, because someone else (clearly in your situation if you can't even buy a standalone) always has more money or motivation or, most likely, brains than you.

Even if your car is running a 12.6, you're still a *****. And in my opinion that puts you with all the other half-*** car modifiers who slap a catback and a "CAI" on their car and call it the fastest thing on the street.
