Tuned 62-1 Single Turbo today....

Got it up to 410rwhp 349rwtq @17psi.

Mods:
Stock Port Reman
62-1 Turbo
HKS Manifold
HKS Wastegate
550/1300 injectors
Denso Supra Pump
M2 Large SMIC
DP/MP/Racing Beat Dual
K&N Intake
HKS SSQV
Greddy Elbow
Power FC
HKS Twin Power

AFR's were around 11.6:1....sometimes getting up near 11.9:1....but overall around 11.5.

Car pulled really cleanly for the most part....no big ignition breakup, stumble, detonation, etc... She made 395rwhp 337rwtq at 16psi, but my friend wanted to see 400rwhp, so he turned her up a pound...and got 410rwhp.

...

...

... oh yeah, and he blew the motor at 7300rpm. No detonation, no bad afr's, nothing.....she just let go. So he now owns a $3000 dyno sheet because he had to see the magical 400rwhp number.

550/1300 injectors
93/91 pump gas
stock 2 bar map sensor
no signs of detonation on the plugs
no knock readings out of line
AFR's were around 11.5 or less during full boost....11.9 was around 4300rpm's...still cleaning it up as we went

Overall, he definately pushed for too much boost on the stock sensor and on pump gas....he knows what he did wrong, just not sure what exactly went wrong. Haven't pulled the motor or anything to check the seals, housings, etc..

Which mods are you referencing to? He knows the 2 bar was at the limit....and is getting a 3 bar with his new motor, but what other mods are "asking for it?"

And the motor was just a stock reman, stock port, no dowel pins.
