Dyno'd Last night!

With the help of 93BlackFD and Dubulup, we made it out to Dynolab last night. This was my first trip to the dyno and was an experience to say the least.

We made 4 pulls, me watching some diagnostics, 93blackFD driving my car.

1st pull was 7 lbs, boost peaked @ 10 lbs and was all over the charts with the PFC trying to control it. I'll definately be adding an aftermarket boost controller.

2nd pull we hit fuel cut..just taking it easy.

3rd pull we made 321. Water Injection coming on around 7 lbs.

4th pull, WI was coming on @ 11 lbs.

I peaked @ 323.2 rwhp @ 7200 RPMS, 258.1 torque. The torque curve was flat, reaching near peak torque @ 3200 RPM's. Turbo Transition was around 4200. We discovered a leak where the elbow met the manifold where water and air was "spewing" out. Time for a new ring and a greddy elbow. A/F stayed VERY consisting @ 10.5 in the upper RPM's. Running rich with the WI, but safe. I'm hoping with the leak and temps having been ~ 50% on my intake that I can get this up to 330-340.

But why bother? It's tuned nice and is plenty of car for me to drive.

I'll post the graphs later.

not much action in here, huh?

I thought you car did good, just weak at transistion...

this is a edit someone did, the original is a red X now???

but look at my torque, it JUMPS up at transistion. A boost gauge would be a great investment for your ride, then we could watch in real time what is going on.

This was stock ports, with CB, DP, intake and pullies

*edit, dayem why did I ever spend more money on this car?????????

Boost gauge and boost controller are in order. I think I need to back out some of that water as rich as I am running.

You think we can tune around that transition? I left the digital camera at home, I'll post the graph later tonight. Very interested in peoples comments.

Not sure about transition yet.

Graph 1 (Damien) shows car with stock ports, Pettit ECU.

Graph 2 (Matt) shows street port, PFC, water injection. We have a little work to do, but it is tuned very safe.
