Dyno Didnt show Torque

I have a friend who works at a shop , and his shop has a Dyno , we ran my car once , and found it had a lean issue so we didnt push it .

BUT the dyno didnt have torque . it didnt show torque for my car . It was a Dyno jet

is there anything special that needs to be done to get it working to show torque ?

Putting that sensor for hte spark plug on lead or trailing ?

Other Cars like a LS1 FD it showed torque just fine for that . So I'm guessing its something rotary related . The shop didnt tune rotaries it was just a baseline figured before I start doing some modding

Something is not right. You should have both a HP and TQ curve and they should intersect at 5250 EXACTLY. If they don't the dyno graph is bogus. If the dyno graph shows a cross at a higher number than 5250 the HP and TQ numbers are inflated.

The dyno can't calculate torque if it doesn't know the RPM. Either the inductive pickup wasn't connected to the right wire or the software wasn't set up to read the rotary rpm correctly.

pickup wasn't connected and plug fires every 180 or 360 depending on which wire he connects it to, leading or trailing in the settings. that's all.

sounds like they were too lazy to hook up the tach signal.
