I have never had a chance to dyno my car, 94 FD with, stock turbos, non seq, ported wastgate, mild street port, 3mm seals, Pettit racing computer set for 15 psi, underdrive pulleys, full 3 inch exhaust, 12.5lb flywheel, PF SMIC, and PF cold air box. What have some of you with about the same setup dynoed your cars at?
Also what kind of 1/4 mile times did you get? Thanks

what about them? 99 spec turbos are basically stock turbos. No real performance differences, esp non-seq. They supposedly will fail at boost levels that the usdm 93-95 twins can operate at, so for this application (non-seq/higher boost/drag racing) they're actually a step backwards compared to our stock twins.

Hey Guys new to the forum. I have a 93 fd with twin filter intake, down pipe, 4" exhaust, Apexi power Fc with commander,MSD ignition, and car was said to be Petit Racing built so not sure if it's ported or not. Stock turbos. I was wondering what is the highest you can boost on the stock turbo and motor?? I've already been boosting 15 no problem other than traction.

Don't raise the boost any higher than 15 psi. Do you know your AFRs, EGTs? I you dont have any of those gauges and have no idea of the state of tune of your FD, you aren't too far from the dallas/fort worth area of texas. Take the car to www.GothamRacing.com for some fine tuning and to make sure that she's running safely.

Yea I have the AF ratio guage and it was tuned by Petit Racing in Florida. It boost sometime at 16 or more when its cold and no problem. I not running lean at all in fact I think I'm running a little rich. Do you know how high you can boost on the stock turbos??

i think goodfellas already answered u. 15psi is "generally" the max. some guys do run more though but at that point u are really pushing the turbos for little benefit, ie just generating more heat.

Does anyone in here add 2 cycle engine oil to their gas when they fill up? I've been doing it because I heard it makes the enine last longer. Does anyone know anything about this?
