12.3 on stock boost.....I'm confused!

I went to the track last night hoping for mid-12s with my new ET streets. It was nice and cool. First pass I pulled a 1.94 60ft and got a 12.51 @ 109 missing 3rd gear. Not bad...I kept the same 25psi in my tires and ran again. This time, same 60ft and no missed gears, I pulled off a 12.34 @ 111.

60ft.............1.94
330ft...........5.28
1/8 et..........8.07
1/8 mph.......87.70
1000 et.......10.45
1000 mph....102.78
1/4 et..........12.34
1/4 mph.......111.74

This may not seem that hard to believe, but my motor is a stock reman, my turbos are stock, and I'm only running stock boost! I have intake, full exhaust, pullies, no a/c or p/s, no air pump, and I didnt have my spare tire in. I lowered my tire pressure and pulled a 1.75 60ft my next run, but missed 3rd and let off early in 4th, but still ran a 12.4 @ 107. It seems like if I would pull a 1.7 or better 60ft my car would be in the 11s......on STOCK 10lbs of boost?!? I dont understand this, I thought it was hard to believe when Rikki ran 11.9 on 11.5lbs. Whats the deal?

drag times

I think those are very good numbers and you must know how to drive.. I have seen many guys with lots of mods go slower due to not knowing how to race...
Myself along with Stephen (spautos or close to that) both ran 12.3 on stock motors and basic bolt ons. I was running 13psi or in that area.. I am not sure about Stephen. But here is what my break down was:
60 foot: 1.9
1/8th:7.9
1/8th mph: 90.0
1/4: 12.3
1/4 mph: 108.0

This was a few years back....

The 10psi does not sound right... Maybe your boost guage is wrong or you have a mazda special under your hood... As far as IC goes. Stephens run was done on stock IC. I was running a small Pettit when I went 12.3. However I did go 8.0 on my stock IC before but it is only a 1/8th mile track so I did not get to see a 1/4 result......

that's really strong

I ran 12.7@112 with a 2.2 60 foot time and 11psi though on my last car with your same mods

so our difference in 60 foot is ~.25 X 2 =.50
12.7-.5 = 12.2

so I would have ran 12.2 with the same 60 time as you
I did run 1 more psi though but you see how it's not totally out of the question? we're just really quick shifters and that's what gives good trap speeds and low times even with **** 60 foot times. It also wasn't that cold when I went to the track I know if I waited a month after I would have gotten at least 2mph more trap

Thats non-seq for ya. Sounds about right for a healthy car. Get an IC, crank it up another 4 lbs and go 118

whats the fastest time recorded on 10lbs? has anyone done 11s? i've got a few more flow mods i can do (ic, efini y-pipe, remove some butterfly's, maybe a cutout) and some weight reduction and i wanna hit 11s on stock boost. THEN I'll give 14lbs a try.
