The Gram Light Pros are very light as well, perhaps only slightly heavier than the CE28Ns...

So what's with the no center caps? Are they at least available? MaxCooper's SE37Ks came with black caps to match his black SE37Ks? I have the same question for the CE28Ns...?

 

Damn you neovosh. I want all the glory. You don't even have a set yet j/k I should have a full set mounted and pics on wednesday.

Sleep. The centercaps blow.. they only come in Grey or Black. no matching gunmetal color.. also they are raised (like a cone that has had the tip cut off, or a plateau) I did some measurements, and it looks like the stock FD centercaps might fit. I'll test it on wedsesday..

yes you could. I just don't like the style. also the center covers only come in gold.. overall I think the flat design of the stock Fd cap would look better.

 

Ah, I see...well...I don't blame you for not spending money on the center cap then. My old SSR Comps came with "truck-style" center caps too, but they were fairly decent for that style. I would NOT like a cone-style...way too ricey

I guess I could live without the center cap seeing that the Gram Light 57 Pros look so good anyway. The non-centercap gives off that track-only look--which, ironically, is the way I ran my old SSR Comps anyway

Isn't that gorgeous. I love how the curve of the spoke accents the curved fender on the FD. IT's so GREAT.

Why such a narrow tire on a 9" wheel, why not a 255 or 265? Or would these rub?

 

On that rear fitment:

You say the 285/30/18 would require a rolled fenter, (something i'm reluctant to do after my fresh paint job)... how close is it?

I would want to run a 275/35/18 instead.

After doing some research a long time ago I could have sworn I saw people running 255's up front with no clearance problems. That true or am I not remembering correctly? I'm running Volk TE37's 17x8.5 +40 offset up front. I ran 245's with no problems. Is it possible to run 255's up front? I have coilovers with smaller diameter coils. Specifically I'm looking at the 255/40/17 Yokohama A032R's.

 

what's the weight on those?

If you check out the CWest RX-7 in November's SCC mag, they are running 17x9.5-F&R Advan RG's with 245/40-17's.

That Gram light looks a gazillion times better in that pic than on web sites. Some wheels just look better in person I think.

I love the Yokohama A032R's but they are slightly heavy and slighty noisy, but they do stick dry or wet.
