Very good info RedR1. Its hard to find hard facts about coilovers sometimes. Thanks for posting as well dis1.

dis1-so there a sucking noise that you can hear inside the car? How loud and annoying is it?

It is rather hard to hear, impossible with the windows down or radio on. However when I am in neutral and going over bumps it is very easy to hear. It doesn't bother me and considering I have been known to spend hours chasing down interior squeaks I doubt many other people will be bothered by it. You will notice it though. I'd say if you have a quiet/stock exhaust it might bother you a bit in the winter when you have the windows up. Maybe BC-FD3S can comment on this.

Great information RedR1...I'm sure there's a lot of folks out there such as myself that have no idea when it comes to these coilovers.

Also, noticed a guy in the FS section selling a custom set-up that cost him almost $8,000...anyone know how that would compare with the "out of the box" coilovers? Thanks.

Penske adjustables. . . . .their supposed to be like. . . the ultimate from what i have heard, but I have never really found any information, as they are custom set up, and I never planned on spending that much money on coilovers. I know they have remote resevoirs, sorta like on the higher end coilovers. Apprently, the Penske's are the best of the best.

If you are not a totally dedicated track car, I personally don't see the need to spend 4 grand on coilovers =)

I agree, if you spend anything over 2500$, than your car should be for the track, or your just getting ripped off.

I've checked out the car after he got the penskes on. Rides incredibly smoother through most surfaces then my JICs and the car looked very stable through the turns.

Feel free to contact a rep at endless usa. 714-847-0694. They can provide you with any technical information you require. We are currently in the process of building custom setups, valving, shell casing material, spring materials and rates.

We have the ability to rebuild and replace the internals of all our Zeal coilovers. We also have the ability to custom valve them in the future should you decide to change the function of the vehicle, or demand more from it.

Upon request we produce a shock dyno/birth certificate of your spefic serial numbered coilovers. It is not a general dyno, it is specific to your actual purchase.

With our heavy motorsports involvement in Japan we felt it is necessary to provide these "custom" services for an out of the box coilover in the States.

Please take a look at our website and the FAQ section for answers to questions you might have.

Thanks, ED USA

Oh wow, I like the new layout. The previous website was down for a while, you had to take the back way in (by clicking contact Endless, then into the coilovers area).

Great products advertise by themselves. After talking with Kent at Endless and following up with Charles, I have been spreading the Zeal gospel, Haha.

Kent is great. Such a nice guy and very willing to acquire technical info for our clients, even if he has to call Japan. We get pretty fast answers to our questions, all things considered.

Well time to dig this one out from the past. I just wanted to say I finally got some additional info up on my site regarding Zeal's suggestions on setup.

Great info Dis1. thanks again for pointing towards Zeal, great people to deal with.

Also, as soon as mine arrive, I will have a write up of their new Function-X coilovers (compared to stock, but hey, its a start right?)

Sounds great RedR1. Be sure to take some nice pics. I'd also be interested in learning what sort of differences there are between the new X line and the B6. The B6 still costs more compared to the Xs but a bit less than the X. The only differences listed on their site is the spring and the thinner casing. (The X also has more dampening settings.)
