wrong size hub

I just got a set of rims with a 2 1/8 " hub, and it seems FD's have a 2.5" hub.

Is there any way to mill it out on my own or how much do you think a shop will charge?

thans for any / all input!

FD's hubs centers are 67.06mm ( ~2 5/8). Now the OME wheels are hubcentric but as the lug nuts are tapered really the hub hold position until nuts are tight. If your wheels use flat washer lug nuts then the hubcentric is vital and machining center must be very very precise i.e. to 0.001 inch. However, if the wheels used taper lug seats like OEM then you would be better off over boring the hub to get away from the required precision and relying on lugcentric only.
