Work Maximer F2

I just wanted to share some new pics with the new wheels.

Work Maximer F2, one of two sets in the us, custom order from work in Japan.

18x9 front 50+ mm offset, s-03's in 255/35/18
18x10 rear 52+ mm offset s-03's in 285/30/18

fits stock suspension with no rubbing at all. (when the car is lowered some it looks like it will rub.)

I got them from richie at Auto R&D. He is a very good guy to deal with, and got me a killer price on the wheels.

How about some weights/approx. prices on those wheels, while we wait for pics?

they arent that light...the s-03's are heavy tires. The wheels are a tad bit over 20lbs each, which seems to be the standard for two peice forged wheels. Im taking them off tonight or tommarro (got slicks on the stockers for drag) so i will get an exact weight then.

By the way, ptr how do you like your m2 coilover conversion things? My car looks 'jacked' now, and I think its time for some suspension mods. I already have the koni shocks, so thoes would be a waste if i just buy a set of coilovers.

I like them alot... the extra spring rate really helps a lowered car from crashing over bumps, and rubbing fender liners and such.

I was able to have these custom built in 1mm increments. It should not rub when lowered as we've been running this setup with Kinesis wheels.

There could have been much more lip up front but I left the option open for a big brake kit. So you've got plenty of clearance.

All my documentation showed them as Work wheels, but they are actually manufactured by Work for Stern. Therefore being the Stern Maximer F2. Didn't find out til I got the centercaps. But obviously have Work badging and decals on the inner rim barrel.

Robert they look great. I'm very glad you're happy. I got H&R's or Eibachs for some pretty decent deals I'm sure. Or tire rack is always a good option.

Thanks, Rishie

Dom, hehe, my name savior.

I actually like the little lip on the front. Makes the rears look bigger

Yeah I was wondering about the centercaps.
