The rear size/offset will work, the front will not fit with stock fenders.

you can fit it no problem you may actually need some spacers

It depends on what tire size he chooses. He is definately going to need to roll the rear fenders, as Im sure he is planning a 285ish tire, and that will place it very close to the fender lip out back. For the fronts the issue will probably be weather or not it will rub the spring on the inside. I would guess that for anything larger than a 245 he *may* need to run a small (5mm) spacer, but it will be close, and depend how much he car is lowered.

Your idea of good fitment, and my idea of good fitment are obviously very different. Having to run extremely stretched tires on wheels with too low of an offset, and still having to roll/flare fenders does not constitute good fitment for me. There is no reason to run a 9-10" wide wheel when you guys are using 215-235 width tires, unless it is only for drift/show. On a street car, or any car you want to optimize the tire contact patch, it is pointless.

well, that's not even really an extremely stretch'd tire combo... but this is... kinda...

that's a 205/45 over a 9.5... although i've seen more extreme stretches like a 235 over an 11... or a 255 over a 13... now those are extreme... for drifting my tires are proper fitment for my car, but definately not for a conservative street car or road race car... but for drifting, it's right on the money!!

I agree, Catharsis should offer a little more detail when he gives out fitment recommendations.

i also wanted 18 rims for my fc and i have 2 questions.

1) i just bought 18x8 +30 & 18x9 +35, will this combo work well on stock fenders?

2) also if i get a pair 18x10 +30 for the rear and use the 18x9 +35 that i already have for the front will that work with the stock fenders or would i need to get 20mm front fenders and 30mm rear fenders?
