Hello all,

I'm looking at buying a new set of wheels/tires from another forum member and I want to make sure these will fit before I pay for them. Heres the specs-

ASA AR1's 18x7 18x9 with Kumho exta supra's. tire sizes are 235 fronts and 275 in the rear.

I have a lowered 91 s5 TII. Do you think these will fit? I also have set of spacers, do you guys think I would need them as well?

those wheels are pretty..
but the tires suck. hope you dont mind too much
and yah offset it everything. if you wanna fit 275s in back its a really tight squeeze, unless you dont mind rolling the fenders.

Im not sure what the off sets are, but should rolling the the fenders be to much trouble? Do you think I could get away without rolling them?

I think you'd be better off picking up a set of stock FD wheels and buy some good rubber for them (like the Bridgestone RE-01R).

Those wheels are cheap knockoffs, and those tires are absolute junk.

Well, they that company makes copies of the more reputable wheels companies out there, like BBS, Volk, SSR etc. You're also making some pretty good power, i'm not sure i'd run those widths.....something like 9 and 10 would allow you to fit some wide quality rubber and get traction.

Thank you for your advice but what do you mean by 9 and 10? I am looking to fit as much rubber as I can, but I dont want a rim that is going to bust on me in a pot hole either(thanks for the heads up) so do you have any other recomendations? ie some nice wheels/tire sizes that could work?

if you dont want to mess with your fenders, shoot for
17x8 +35 235/40/17
17x9 +35 255/40/17
any wider tires, or lower offset wheels, and you gotta roll the fenders.

Josh just gave some great recommendations as far as FC fitment.

Re: the wheels, i wasn't trying to say they'd break the first time you hit a pothole . They're not horrible wheels, you just have to aware they're not really an 'authentic' style. I wouldnt pick them up unless the sizing was perfect and it was a killer deal, and that doesnt appear to be the case here.

There's also the matter of the front being a 7" wheel—narrower than stock. 9" is also a squeeze for a 275. You might run 225/40 F, 255/35 R on those, but I wouldn't go any bigger.
