The wheels might fit, depend on the offset and the design of the wheels. The tires definetly won't fit. They are more of SUV tires with 55 and 60 series sidewall.

For an FD? Stock wheel width is 8". Why would you want to go narrower than stock?

If you are too lazy to read through the archives for some basic fitment knowledge, then call a knowledgable wheel dealer (like Rishie at Auto RnD) and tell them what you are looking for.

Those wheel sizes are most likely from cheap rims oriented for FWD. And your tire sizes are like SUV sizes....I suggest you read through the wheel and tire tech section at www.tirerack.com for the basics.

Hello! "rynberg" was referring to the tire aspect ratio, not the wheel diameter. 55 and 60 series tires are what typically come on SUVs and other non-performance cars.

they arent "cheap wheels oriented with FWD" why would i look for FWD?
Because the size you mentioned (18x7.5) is narrow and their fitment is typical of Hondas, Acuras and other FWD cars.

You need to go do your homework, son...

ok i was wrong about the SUV stuff, but wtf? im not looking for FWD wheels. it may be similar to the "typical" size on Hondas, Acuras and other FWD cars, but those were RWD, they were just too skinny.

Doesn't matter anyway. What "rynberg" was referring to isn't a steadfast rule; lots of FWD and RWD cars share the same or similar offsets.

Look, you want to run large tires, here's what you need:

front: 18x9, offset +45 to +50 with 255/35 18 tires
rear: 18x10, offset +45 to +50 with 285/30 18 tires

Or symmetrical (all four):

18x9.5, offset +47 to +50 with 255/35 or 265/35 18 tires

Look DUMB ***, you were the one that asked, "they arent "cheap wheels oriented with FWD" why would i look for FWD?". I answered YOUR question because it was not clarified in "rynberg's" post. When someone is trying to teach you something, especially something you know nothing about, you need to shut up and listen! You're the ignorant one here, not me!

you did answer my question. my quesiton wasn't asking whatever you "answered" my question was a retorical one. i already know everything you posted here i this thread, the only thing that i didnt know was the offset stuff and rynberg just posted the answer that i needed so this thread is done. you dont need to keep going on and getting mad about all this.
you keep saying i know nothing about everything, but thats not true. i know more than you think. like i said before if you dont like my questions or my posts then just dont waste your time and read them. dont even bother to read them, its as simple as that.

I hope I get to shake both rynberg's and SpeedKing's hand some day. I also wish people would wait until they have the car that they're asking specific technical questions on. This isn't research, it's a waste of time.
