If that does not work. My question is: Will a bent and cracked swaybar mount cause more rubbing on hard turns?? I found mine to be both, cracked and bent. Mostly on the drivers side, the same side that I rub more on. I am ordering the Mazdatrix ones Thursday but I am in question if I will still need springs or the GC kit..

 

Yes, bent or broken sway bar mounts can cause rubbing. Are they the cause of your rubbing problem? I don't know.

I wonder if mines bent now. When my last motor blew, i had no other way but to tie a rope at the mount.

 

From what I have found, if they are stock and you drive a little hard, (autocross, etc..) then they most likely are toast..
