will 15" wheels fit on the front of the FD?

i know it sounds stupid since the stockers are 16", but i may be able to borrow some race wheels/tires from a friend for autocross this weekend.

does anyone know if 15" wheels will clear the brakes on the front of an FD? the wheels are kosei k1's BTW

Rear should fit, but I'm not too sure about the front, there isn't much room b/w the stock rim and the caliper, but you might be able to pull it off. Why not try to put them on to see if they'll fit with the offset and everything? Just a thought

yes they will fit but it depends on the backspacing and you might need spacers
I will be installing 15" Weld wheels on my FD

If you have a chance try to put them on and see if they'll fit

couple of "it depends" factors. only way to know is to test fit.

No they won't fit... the rotor and calaper size are made for no smaller than 16".. the 15" almost first.. but no they won't.

I agree that you need to just try them to see if they will fit.

Be careful about the tolerances. A wheel might fit okay with the car up on a jack, or under low-load driving conditions (going straight), but if the tolerances are too tight, it could make some contact as you trail-brake hard on corner entry. You should keep an eye out for trouble, and bring your stock wheels so you don't waste a weekend on the sidelines if they do end up rubbing.
