Why? This is factory size.

Ok just traded a friend wheels. My gsl-se rims for his. Mine has good rubber and his is worn out.
Well I ordered new rubber and should be here anyday so we swapped.

His rims had the factory 205/60/14 tires and mine had 195/60/14.
And when I drove the 7 his rubber was rubbing on my springs. WTF???

man, this tire stuff sucks. Now that bad is the tires I ordered are 205's so when they get here (tomorrow) I will have a new set that won't work.

Whay would a factory size rub????? All my suspension has been replaced. I have eibach springs and tokico blues. All new bushings, tie rods, ball joints, new lower control arms, and rb sway bars.

THIS DON"T MAKE SENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know the eibach's lower the car some but it actually rasied it up from where the factory worn out shock had it riding before.

Also, not all 205/60-14 tires are the same size. They all vary a bit from the calculated size, some tire models more than others. However, it seems strange that any 205/60-14 tire would be so strange that it would rub even though it is a stock size (is it really a stock size?).

Door jamb says 205/60/14
and yes on the stock gsl-se wheels.

Once my new 205's get in I will mount one tire on a rim and test it before I mount all of them.

Well, that is what I was hoping. My new tires came in and yes the new 205's fit with no problems. And at 44.00 a tire I could not pass it up.

eibachs are little bigger diameter than the stock coils.

try some 3mm wheel spacers (1/8")
