Who has 18" rims and fit without rolling or cutting

Hey just wondering if anyone has 18's on their fd and had any fitment issues. I have been told that 18's will require that I have to roll or cut the rear fenders to clear. I put ErnieT's Blitz Type03's on last night to see how they looked and they look really good but I think that 18's will look much better but if I have to cut or roll then I'm sticking with the 17's. If anyone has 18's and no fitment issues would you mind supplying me with specs. offset, make and model ect...I really appreciate any and all help. Thanks, Joe

I have but they aren't wide, only 235 mm in width.

but their will be no problem with bigger. i even had 30mm spacers on and that was no problem.

NOPE.
you are the very first one EVER, EVER, EVER!
doing a search would turn up absolutly NO threads like this because this FD came out only 2 weeks ago and is WAY to new to have had a topic like this discussed before.
this could not posible have been posted in the WHEEL section could it have?

rxrotary2_7-

I guess when I left the Supra communtiy I thought that I would be leaving behind all the a**holes with it but I guess no matter where you go there will be more of them. But that would be steriotypical to say that everyone who owns a Supra is one or everyone who owns a 7 is as well because everyone else that I have met and known for some time now have been great its amazing how a few can ruin it for the rest. I guess people with to much time on there hands have nothing better to do so they cruise the forums and look for someones' post that may appear to them as being trival and stupid then to try and make someone new feel like a idiot. The fact of the matter is that I'm new to the forum and do not live on it so I didn't realize that there was a wheel forum but now that you let me know with your kindness I will not ever make that mistake again because I would hate for the "Search" police to come down on me again. If I want to make a post that may have been brought up or discussed a month ago or a year ago maybe I don't have the time to search for hours on end when all I need to do is make a new thread and if someone has the time and patience to answer than wonderful don't waste my time and others with your sarcasm.

To everyone else that has or will contribute to my questions thank you for your answers and support and I'm sorry for going off like that but I can't stand how some people take the whole search thing so seriosly. Give me a break no one is holding a gun to your head to answer my q's so just skip over the thread and move onto the next one. I'm a member to many car forums and it seems that there are some guys who are so **** about this issue and I can't understand why. I offer my help to who ever needs it whether or not I may have seen or answered a similar thread in the past. I say lets take a stand against the "Search" police

Thanks again and sorry for the lashing out,
Joe

In all fairness to rxrotary, I do have sticky that makes a polite request of everyone to please do a search before posting a new topic.

Not having time to do an effective search is not acceptable to us. What this means is that you'd rather have us give you the quick answer, so you can go on your merry way, surfing other forums, rather than digging in, and learning something about FD Rx7 wheel fitments...

in all fairness. this thread originated in the 3rd gen section. thanks for the backup though.
the FIRST thread on the page of the 3rd gen section (it is a sticky) addresses this same situation. the first thread on the page... not 26 pages back (hours upon hours of searching)
you are from the supraforums? good. so you are familiar with a forum enviornment. look for the BEST section to post in. and try searching sometimes.
sorry to be so harsh, but it pisses me off when i log on and every time i have to move at least 10 threads from that section.
if you had the time to type that entire post...i think you have time to search for a few minutes before starting a new topic. seriously, when you have a few minutes, please read the thread at the top of the page in the 3rd gen section.
yes i am a i spelled sarcasm (i dont even know if i spelled it right this time ) wrong.

Joe, check this thread out. I know he said the fronts rub, but only under hard cornering.... there are a few minor things you can do to cure the rubbing issue though...

I noticed when you get to 1000 Post all you can do to responed to a newbie is BITCH about do a search. If you have nothing to say then don't respond.
Options and fact matters the more data a person gets the more comfortable the choice they make on there RX-7. If all you can do is responed with a BITCH then you are spending way to much time in this forum..

Its just a FORUM for Gods sake!

To everyone who had something positive to say in responce to my original question THANK YOU very much I can see that it doesn't bother you to much to take some time out of your day to answer some of the trival questions that someone new has. I appreciate all your links and input which have helped me make a decision in the right direction.

powermalex- THANK YOU very much for having alot of courage to back me up on this one. I am on many forums and I have been around the car thing for over 10 years now so I maybe be a newbie to the 7 for now but I'm not an idiot either. I proly know more about the 7 then many of the so called veterns because I have been around the car and the guys who own them for a long time now and I listen well but most of the knowledge that I have aquired has come from guys like ErnieT and Demetrios and more to do with creating raw power and not the show end of the car so that it where my knowledge lacts so I turn to the guys who can help me out in this department. I have torn down many of these motors and helped put them back together. I have done everything from clutch jobs to wiring up Haltecs so I'm no idiot and I will not let the "Search" police try and make me feel that I am. I turn wrenches period. Fact of the matter is I have more under the hood time then most guys on this forum, now does that make me special, no! That just means that if someone has a question and I can answer it then I will. If not then soemone who does will.

"Its just a FORUM for Gods sake!

GET A LIFE!!!!!!!"

I couldn't have said it better myself!!!!

I'll say it again I'm not trying to cause any trouble here and I mean no disrespect to the moderators but give it a rest. I have been reading these forums for awhile now and I see the same repeated q's over and over and I see every once in awhile someone will post do a search if it was such a hassle and problem and so many people hated it so, then I think I would see more of the search police out there cracking down on people but its only a couple of guys who really make a major case out of it when everybody else could give a rats a** about it.
Just my .02

Thanks again guys I think I'm going with Volk GT-P's or the Advan Siena Generation II 18*8 for the front and 18*10 in the rear with some yokohama AVS.

By the way this is Joe I'm over Demetrios's house. Just realized I'm signed in under his name. Shoot now this won't count toward my 1000'th post marker.

The point is

that you're NOT an idiot. The point is that you need to give back to the Rx7 Forum rather than just taking, and taking, and taking.

BTW, I hope you LIKE LOTS of UNDERSTEER...that's what you'll get with your very staggered setup.

Now that we've answered your question...I'm locking this thread...

Best of luck surfing other forums for more information...
