where to get new rotors for AP racing/M2 big brake kit?
I just totally wore out my rotors on my AP racing big brake kit (the one from M2 performance with the championship rotors). Where can I get new ones to replace mine? M2 is definitely not an option seeing as how they take forever to get back to people so I'm sorta stuck

Call Jason at Brits located in Sonoma at Infineon Raceway.
They are the west coast distributor for AP components.

That's where I'm getting mine from. Tell him Mark referred you. Mention he has my 13" AP brake kit there in the shop and is ordering rotors soon. Maybe he'll cut you a break.

I have some brand new slotted ones you can have for 400 shipped.
Thanks,
Fritz
Try Precision Brakes and have them make you some if your not interested in mine.

Fritz, are they the same championship rotors used for the AP engineering big brake kit or are they a different substitute? I'm definitely interested, let me know

Brake rotors? there is only one name you need: Coleman. (that's my last name so it is really easy for me to remember--- and no, i am not connected)
i have run the M2 APs since '99 and if i ever need a set of rotors i will just contact ColemanRacing.com. Coleman makes most of the rotors for NASCAR etc etc. they are the real deal. how would you like to stop a 3400 pound stockcar at Martinsville for 500 miles? make no mistake, they make as good a rotor as exists on the planet.
they will make an exact replacement for our setup. i believe the cost is about $300 for the 2 front rotors.
after you have acquired your new rotors throw on a set of EBC greens (or reds for track) and you probably won't have to call Coleman again
Coleman will probably pick up the phone unlike the outfit where we purchased our brake package.

PFC also makes a replacement for that part # It isnt cheap, maybe 280.00 each?
Also brembo makes one also, buit has a new part number so the one that may be stamped into your rotor edge is nt valid anymore.

Get them from Coleman. Do a search on the internet. M2 used Coleman rotors on their AP kits, not AP rotors. AP rotors run about $400 EACH whereas the Colemans are about half that. New mounting hardware is around $40 for Ti bolt and nuts. You can do everything yourself as long as you torque them correctly. You will be able to choose slotted, cross drilled, whatever. I would suggest 3 to 5 slots at most per rotor. The only thing you will need to supply Coleman are the measurements for the rotor. Not sure if you can send them a rotor or not...there are a dozen dimensions needed. One other suggestion would be to call www.ntechengineering.com as they too have an AP kit. I believe everything is the same but Nick will walk you through the measurements and you can order them directly from NTech.

M2 used PFC rotors and Brembo rotors on their AP kit, I have them sitting right here. The Brembo rotor has a new part number and is tough to find. PFC still has them in stock and they cost 295.00 each Im sorry I dont have the part number handy. Give PFC a call, they are very helpful.
