I had never seen "spinners" on the street before (just at shows), but I have seen three cars with them in the past few weeks. My god, I really think they look stupid. Ugh...

i'm apparently too old to know what these are, and why anyone would want them.

I'm still trying to figure out how they made a sport out of taking corners wrong. :-)

Also called "spinners". Those hideously large wheels with an additional fake face mounted to the wheel on a ball bearing. They look kind of like a salad shooter

The REAL Spreewells are made by Davin and originally cost around $9000. I see cheap knockoffs all the time now but the originals actually looked pretty good on heavy luxury cars and sport utes.
This is their website but they no longer show the original 2 versions ...

Some company makes them for motorcycles now. Wonder if that affects handling ?
