Question Where can I buy Sway Bar mounts??

I just installed my Pettit/addco froint sway bar and noticed that my mounts look pretty weak. I've also read that they are prone to breaking with upgraded bars...

Does anyone have a sturdy set for sale??? Know where I can get 'em?

TIA,

John

David Breslau at Widefoot Racing makes some very nice cast aluminum mounts that also move the bar up which helps avoid bottoming. These are the best available, in my opinion. They are very nice.

sway bar mounts

Mazdatrix also has a more rugged mount than the stock mounts. A little cheaper than the Widefoot, but probably almost as good, mine are holding up OK so far. I broke the stock mount AND the Racing Beat reinforcing bar with the ST front bar upgrade. Best to get something sturdier in place before the stock mount breaks at an inopportune time- like in mid corner.

I will also recomend the "Widefoots" mounts. They appear to be billit as opposed to cast. and are "coffee table art".... they also change mounting problems engineered from the factory...nice product. The very last thing i want to worry about on my car as i go into a u turn at the coast, passing slower traffic across the dbl yellow line is my OOppss..l!! dam sway bar mount broke... and the earth in fact is flat with a edge to faaallll ooffff.....Carter

I believe that M2 and SR Motorsports carry upgraded mounts. On mine I just bought 1 new stock mount and use the Racing Beat reinforcer. But I use the stock swaybar...

The first version of the Widefoot mounts were machined billet, but they are cast now. Mine came painted or powdercoated black. They are very nicely made.

David Breslau- the designer of the Widefoot line also has the mounts on sale right now for $250. Do a search for his email address. I'm ordering mine on Friday.
