Where are Bumps Stops located?
Went to get a suspension safety check yesterday. They said my bump stops are all destroyed. Looking at the photos can you guys tell where they are meant to be?

In the second pic the rubber bellows laying in the bottom of the spring is supposed to be attached to the rubber mount at the top. There is a rubber biscuit in the top of the bellows that is the bump stop. It's very common for these to look just like yours if they've never been replaced.

bump stops don't affect your ride comfort at all. atleast replacing the stock bump stops don't. bump stops save the car from frame damage if and when the suspension bottoms out. but they do sell aftermarket bump stops that are much taller than stock that act like hard rate progressive springs.
