Which wheels should I put on my new 3rd gen.

Hey guys,

I finally got a silver 93 RX7 and I'm wanting to purchase some new wheels and tires for it. Can you guys show me some options and give me some size information on what I should purchase?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'd keep with the stock wheels and powdercoat them. They're very light unlike many aftermarkets.

stock is 8 inches wide... so you probably wanna go wider than that... go with at least an offset of 43... the lighter the better.. volks are extremely light...

personally im gonna get the 5Zigen 5ZR 2pc. Wheel when I can afford them You can find alot of wheels at www.worldoneperformance.com

You need 2 of 'em. The big ones!

Seriously though, there is a wheels/suspension section, & if you searched through there you'd probably get some ideas.

Wrong section, but hey why not voice my opinion.

Personally, I like the sleeper look, which is hard in an FD, but if it looks stock, the guy in the viper will have no idea what hit him when you leave him at the line. So I'd say keep the exterior stock, put money into performance/reliability.

Do a search, read the sticky thread at the top of the page, and buy the wheels YOU like

I like seeing the CCW's (custom wheel in FL) 18x10's all the way around on FD's. 285/30/18's fit and look not only good... but are about same heigh as stock and handle very very nicely. The rims are round $2K.

If I ever get a 3rd gen these are going on my car.
