Wheels fitment question
A friend of mine is seeling these nice 3pc 18" wheels:
They are same model as Aston Martin puts on their cars. Look very nice indeed.
Fronts are 8.5x18" ET56
Rears are 10x18" with unknown ET (9x18" has ET 40 though, so its thereabout)
I'm thinking about 245/35/18 tires.
Questions:
1) will it rub ?
2) will it rub if I install Eibach pro's ?
3) What is the center hole diameter for FD wheel ?
Plz, dont move this thread to Wheels section until I get some replies, no-one reads that section
Any other thoughts ?

The centerbore of the FD3S (93-95) is 67.1mm, I am guessing the ET is the back spacing, I believe the back spacing on the fronts is a bit too much. I think 25-40 range is right for front and 35-45 is right for the rear. If the backspacing was appropriate for the car, 18's will rub the fender edge when going up curbs(into driveways) and on speed bumps, if you lower the car too much. Eibach pro kit I believe is only 3/4 " drop on the FD so You may be okay. You can contact discount tire direct or tire rack and they would be able to tell you the exact requirements on back spacing for the car.

The 8.5 width will work with anything from a +40 to +50 offset. +56 is really high and will reduce the track width at the front, but it should still clear the suspension parts easily. A 5-15mm spacer would work wonders.
The 10" rear has a limited offset range that will work, so you need to determine the correct offset. You will want a +45 to +50 offset. I know a few members run 18x10 +38 offset but they had to roll their fenders.
Tire sizes would be 235/40 and 265/35 or 245/35 and 285/30, depending on the rear offset.
EDIT: And yes the FD centerbore is 67.1mm, so you may also need centering rings. Also, before you go any further, you may want to verify that the bolt pattern is 5/114.3.

Bolt pattern is 5x114.3, its from Nissan 300ZX. All japanese sports cars have 5x114.3
Rynberg - when you're talking about tyre sizes - do you think I could run 245/35 all-around or is 10" in the back too wide for 245 tire ?
P.S. : Where to get spacers and centering rings ?

I don't understand your desire to mount 245 all-around when the rear wheels are 1.5" wider....and no I would not mount a 245 on a 10" wheel. Proper tire sizing in the rear would be 265/35 or 285/30.
Before you worry about tire sizes, I would verify the offsets.

Yea... friend doesnt know the offsets
How is ET measured ? From the backface of the wheel-center to inner-depth ?

Just got correct data:
Center bore is 66mm
Fronts 8.5x18", ET30
Rears 10x18", ET45
Will I need to bore out the center ? Can it be done ? Are offsets ok ?

If the bore reading was just field measured by your friend, I would assume that it was really 67mm and would be fine.
However, the front wheel offset is very low. You will very likely have to roll your fenders and forget running the Eibachs. I suggest moving on to a different set of wheels. Those look really heavy anyway...

They are heavy yes
But for the street I'm more into looks. For the track (drag and roadway) I would use stock 16" with some super-sticky rubber.
Oh well... I'll just get new OZ Superleggera then. It will be cheaper in the long run anyway
