Talking wheels?

hey guys ,looking to get seom wheels for Sema car we're building, and not sur what size to go. ive been told 18's are ok, and my question is with the width. will X8's look silly inthe rear? or do i need to go atleast X9's in the rear. thanx guys,

You can go ten inches all the way around with the right offset. Not quite sure the correct number, but others with chime in...

IMHO.. I would go with a wider width tire in the rear. Too me it just screams "this is a high performance car" and it needs a lot of rubber out back to put down all the power its making..

8's in the rear will prolly look silly in my opinion...
I run x8.5's up front and x9.5's in the rear.

what are you building this car to do? We too are building several vehicles for exhibition and trade shows for endless. Are you guys trying to spend over 2000 for wheels? Is this going for a drifter look? Is it being built for roadrace, or just show?
