Wheels: 24mm offset fit 94 FD

I did search and seem like ideal offset range is +35-45...but I just wonder if 24 mm would fit on a stock FD.

17x9 with P245/45/17 tires (front)
17x10 with P275/40/17 tires (back)

Thanks.

Nope. Too low. On a 9" front wheel, I wouldn't want any less than a +40.

I would say that 35-45 should work...

17x9 with P245/45/17 tires (front)
17x10 with P275/40/17 tires (back)

id probly run +40 on both those. I have 17X8, 17X9 +38 all around it the fitment is just right. however it will rub the inner lip slightly with a 275 rear, unless negative camber is realized.

+35 on a 9" wide wheel up front?! Nope! I would go w/ a minimum of +45.

You and "Rx-7Addict" need to do your homework. Read what I posted above for a 9" wide wheel up front, and 245/45-17 is almost 1" larger than stock. I recommend a 245/40-17 instead.

For reference... I have 17x9 +41 offset front with a 255/40/17 and a 17x10 +41 rear with 275/40/17

No rubbing issues whatsoever. Stock suspension for now...

Great advice.

You must be either running some good camber or you got lucky with the actual tire width of the model you are using. 17x10 +41 with 275/40 is a hair width from rubbing on some tire models. Same with the front.

I'm also guessing you don't track the car. Add track driving and/or suspension lowering and you are going to be catching fender lips right and left.

Those are exactly 1mm less than my 18". 9' +42 up front, with 255/35, and 10" +42 rear w/ 275/35. I'd be VERY careful up front if you lower your car.... rolling required!

On the rear, mine look for all the world like they would rub but don't. I've heard that +38 DO rub, so I suppose +39-40 is the grey area.

What brand of 275/40/17 do you have? Have you had others on there?
