Question Wheel & Tire Experts!!

I got some 17" wheels for my FC and I was wondering if they would fit. I got 2 17x7's with a +44 offset and 2 17x8's with a +52 offset. Would these fit on my car?? My car isnt lowered right now so I dont know if that plays a role here. Will I need spacers??

I couldnt try them on at the wheel shop since my car is on jackstands The guy told me to bring them back for a full refund if they did not fit. That way I dont get screwed if they dont fit. Ayuda por favor!

Those are more FD offsets if anything...&nbsp It's going to be real tight, but it has a lot to do with what size tires you're going to run also...

Those offsets are way to far in. The 44 might fit, but I would be skeptical that the 52 would fit without major spacers.

I was worried about the offsets. The wheels have 235's and 255's on them right now. I wanted to put 225s up front and something smaller than 255 in the back. Basically I wanted to run the smallest tire I could on each wheel.
Would I need spacers for the front and back with the tires I want to run? Spacers on all four corners doesnt sound too appealing to me. Thanks.

No, those offsets are too high for an FC. Rishie (ARD T2) should be able to confirm this. You'll probably need wheel spacers. 255/40-17s will not fit on an 8-inch wide wheel, so you'll need to narrow the tire size down to 225/45-17 for the 8 x 17. 215/45-17 tire size will go nicely with 7.5 x 17s.

Yeah, way too high.

Rishie

You need spacers, but they cost so much it wouldn't be worth it.

Does any1 know if spacers like this would be cool? Im not sure if I'll buy some or just get some different wheels. WIth the tires my wheels have right now, they would rub big time. I test fitted them a while ago. Ive heard alot of people say spacers suck but in all of my rx7 mags, alot of the cars have them. Ive seen them in many RE Amemiya cars and these guys do real good times around the track. I really like the wheels I got and I would like to know more about spacers before I make a decision. Thanks alot guys.

Heres some pics of my wheels:

Those are decent spacers, but they are not hubcentric. The fact that they are studded is a good thing. H&R makes studded hubcentric ones. I can hook you up if you want.

You need a 5mm spacer for the front and a 15mm spacer for the rear.

How are the condition of the wheels? I do like them and might be interested in using them on my protege or a customer's. If things don't work out please contact me and I'll see if I can help out your problem.

thanks, Rishie

I am running 245's on 8" rims? they are ok but i'd say they are as big as you can go.
