wheel suggestions. your input needed
I'm taking my fd in for paint and body next week and it will be a black fd with pettit fender flares (molded) black interior carbon kevalr seats also black. the car is debadged except for the two efini badges front and rear. but everything polished or silver looking is flat black so the badges are flat black so is the intercooler, oil coolers and exhaust so I want a set of flat black wheels to go with it. but i cant decide on what wheels to go with. I really wanted to use a set of volk te37's but they dont make custom offsets or an 18x12 for a 335 tire so if you have any suggestion this is what im working with. this is basically what the car looks like but i need suggestions on wheels ( flat black only please) i can powder coat if flat black finish is not offered from the distributor.

Well, CCW does make a 1 piece wheel thats 12 inches wide........but they are all rough mesh type designs. If that floats your boat, then by all means, order them.
They are great wheels. I would rock CCWs before i rocked Jlines.

If you want a 12 inch wide rear wheel, chances are you are going for performance element too (monoblock, width, lighter weight, and the offsets needed), which the CCWs satisfy.
It's going to be a tradeoff, one way or the other.
What offsets do you want to run, front and rear? What disks do you want for brake clearance?

Are you the same person who bought those AME's for that FD? I sold those wheels but shipped em to Georgia if memory serves, and is nice to see the thing still sitting around looking good. I can totally understand you wanting a wider setup, but the lip depth on those circlar R's is pretty fabulous for only be 10" wide.
Finding a one piece wheel that wide is definitely going to make your pickings slim. i'm sure CCW's would be the most affordable and easiest to get quick replacements if anything were to happen.

factory up front maybe fit a 255 tire Im looking for a as much rubber as i can fit in the rear. Im trying to get my 20b to hook and i don t like running around on slicks the cops around here are ****'s for that stuff. so since im staying on street tires i need as much width as possible. as far as an offset im not sure what i need with the pettit flares and im running factory brakes other than new pads larger rotors and stainless lines with a brake fluid that has a high boiling point. pretty standard stuff... Im looking at michelin ps2 335/30/18 for the rear btw

I'm really liking the Fikse Profil 5's I recently added for my '93, but mine are in 17". They do make 18's in custom fitments, and have a black finish: http://www.fikse.com/finishes.html I don't know it their "race black" is flat enough, but check it out! The FM5's are similiar. Both are 3 three piece wheels, but with an easy cleaning, smooth outside.

what do you guyas think of these obviously not in a 22 but the design maybe with a flat black lip too in stead of gloss so its easier to keep clean.

I heard today from a distributor that shall remain nameless that iforged quality and customer service has gone down hill. does anyone have any factually backed opinions about this or has anyone ever had problems with them? I would like to purchase these wheels but if they are going to charge me a lot for total junk and then have terrible support i will take my business elsewhere.

Stay away from I-Cra....i mean I-Forged. And from what i hear J-Line seems to have some sort of affiliation with I-forged. Only personal experience was on a customers 360 Modena when the finish on the lips kept fading on his I-forged wheels.
Seems to be, the more $$$ the wheel, the shittier the quality and customer service. At least from what i noticed with 360 Forged and their badge engineering and I-Forged. All show, no go.
+1 for Fikses, Works, SSRs, CCWs, Kodiaks, BBSs. Names that have been around in the motorsports circle, tried and true.
