Question Wheel Spacers - when are they needed?

Lost 2 rear tires this past year to what looks like a rubbing problem. Both were damaged on the inside edges. Could be just cheap tires that wore out, they were on the car when we bought it a couple of years back.

We have ADR wheels, 18" all around and I'm wondering if they should have been spaced? I've never used wheel spacers before and at first I thought that a lower profile tire and the taller wheel were off-setting to each other. Now I'm wondering if the width of the wheel and tire could have been an issue.

Any experienced thoughts on the wheel spacer needs or ways to check.

Thanks for any help.

What size and offset are the wheels? If you aren't sure, that info is sometimes offered on the backside of the wheels.

What Mahjik said... you need to find out what offset and width they are...Id guess its your offset, but how much is off needs to be figured out.
