I replaced my capscrews on my Epsilon wheels. I couldn't get exactly what I wanted so I had to settle for nickel coated bolts. I got them at a local bolt store who had to order them.

On a similiar note, does anyone know if you have to remove the tire from the rim before unbolting and removing the center section or will that mess up the rim?

I came across this place the other day. These are for BBS wheels so whether they'll work or not I can't tell you. Might want to give the place a call and ask for the dimensions of these wheel bolts.

BTW, why don't you just clean and re-use the ones you have?

Ok, I looking for an answer for my question I stumbled upon THIS site for the bolts. Large selection and styles.

Now...I was being serious. I was going to let the air out of course but would it still necessarilly be a bad idea? I can't afford to take my tires off and get them back on just to unbolt the center section. To make that easier to understand, I'm an FC owner.

If you have a 2 piece wheel, then it's no problem. My Epsilons were 2 piece with the rim halves welded together. I didn't have any tires on mine at the time; but, I don't see a problem if they would have been.

I'm not sure about 3 piece wheels. I imagine there's some kind of seal between the two rim halves.

I have done what your talking about with kart wheels. Separating the tire from the rim half still required a bead breaker.
