Wheel offset (searched)

Hey guys, I have an opportunity to buy a set of 16x7 wheels with a +48 offset, will this work without rubbing the fenderwall or suspension? B.t.w its for an 89 GTU that offset calculator seems to be down, and I'm flying back to Canada on friday. Please help A.S.A.P

Thanks Ted, always a great help (no sarcasm). I went with a set of 5zigen typhoons in a 17x7.5 with a +40 offset, I bought 1/8inch spacers for the front, that'll fit no?

7.5" with a 1/8" spacer is going to be tight, but it's depending on what size tires you're running?

haha, sorry for the terse reply.
I've got my offset guidelines here:
http://fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/RT/rims.htm

I really need to update the pages to include the 0.5" sizes like yours to make it easier.

Good luck!

Yeah this was a while ago, but I'd like to extend my thanks to ted for the help =) They haven't yet found their home onto my car (simply because i have no time and am currently looking for a t2) eheh =) I think I'll be going with some 5-6mm spacers up front. Thanks again, -Art
