Work Euroline

18x8+40 18x9+45 5x114.3

Just wondering where about they would sit compared to the fenders? with that offset they should work with stock suspension, without rolling fenders as well. Just would like to see a rim with that offset on the FD.

they will fit fine, no rolling required. You can go wider in the rear or a more aggressive offset.

i understand they will fit, but like HOW will they fit? Will they be flush with the fender, or stick far into the wheel well? just curious.

When the car is under load. Take a ruler, and measure it from the hub 45 mm. That will be a good idea where the face of the wheel will be. The rest is backspacing. Put that in perspective with the width of the wheel.

The hub is 0 offset, a 9.5 wheel is 247~ MM from "J to the J" (lips of the wheel). So Calculate +45 from the hub, and subtract the rest and that's how much it will be on the behind.

Hope this helps.

Yea that works. When you say the Face, you mean like the mesh of the wheel. Then "backspacing" is that the lip?

Yeah the mesh.

Backspacing is how deep the barrel goes into the wheelwell. The Hub is 0 offset, so that means you have same distance in the front (lip) and rear. The offset changes the position of the face of the wheel. and a + offset moves the barrel more "in" the fenderwell. You can determine, from that point, how much wheel is inside the fenderwell and how much "lip" you have.

From that point, you can determine where the wheel will fit (9.5 or w/e) from each "J" (edge of the lip) and the position of the face.

Depending on that, you can add a spacer to make it fit, or get more aggressive sizes.

so a guy in the FS section for wheels is selling a set of Gram lights

Specs are:
18x9.5 +38 Front
18x9.5 +22 Rear

Now that just dosent look like it will fit, he states it will fit like a glove with stock suspension. What do you guys think? Im almost certain these offsets will not work.

Depends on the alignment, tires, and if you pull and roll fenders too.

You can always modify to make it fit.

Well i have stock suspension. So sorta limited with what i can do. I have a set of Tein Springs, if they were to work with them. But its like not so out of spec, that i would have huge trouble fitting them?
