what tire size I need for these rear rims?

Hey I need to know what size I need for my rear rims, also I already saw a similar thread and that answer the front for me. The rims size are 17x10 and offset is 45.Thanks

You could run 275/40 but that will raise your final-drive ratio and increase speedo error -- as well as jack up the rear of your car by almost 3/4". A 265/40 would have less negative effects and not give up much tread width. Unfortunately, no one makes a 285/35 17 which would be perfect for that rim size.

What are your front tires/wheel sizes?

well there is another thread like this and his is running the same size as I am infront 17x8.5 or I can go 17x9 and I think u told him that he can run 235-40-17 or 245-40-17,btw thanks alot rynberg. Khris

255/40/17 are a good size

Yup and if that size isn't offered in the tire you choose then the 265/40 will have to do. 255 has a crazy nice stretch over a 10" wheel.

So u guys are saying that 255-40-17 is wider than the 265-40-17? And it look better too?I know these question are simple but I was never a fan of fancy rims & tires. khris
