Do you want drag slicks or circuit racing slicks?

You might want to post this in the Suspension section, or have one of the mos move this thread to there. You'll probably get more answers.

Depends on what you want them for and whether you have to drive to the track on them.

If you're only going to use them at the track, and you're not racing in a class that requires a "DOT" tire, then you'll want the Mickey Thompson ET Drags.

If you have to drive to the track and/or you race in a class that required a DOT tire, Mickey Thompson ET Streets (DOT legal, but not by much) are the ticket.

You can drive on the ET Street slicks on the street, but be aware that they're nowhere near a street tire and that at the first sign of rain, you'd better just park the car and walk.

Try http://www.jegs.com.

Start with your wheel size... what diameter and width are the wheels you'll be using?

If you're using the stock wheels, you'll notice that Mickey Thompson makes an ET Street 16" slick that's a good match, PN 672-3792 (26 x 10.5-16).

I just bought some MT ET Drags. 26X8.5X15. I put them on 15X8" Centerline rims without tubes. I bought some tubes for them, but the valve stems are too thick to get through the holes in the rims.

Running 15 PSI in them, when I shift, the car lurches to the left. Is this normal? I don't know if I wanna be shifting in to 4th at 100 MPH and have my car lurching like that. Morer tire pressure or do I just need to learn how to drive it that way?
