what size rim for fitment and for tire size 275/40/17

looking at the enkie rpf1. either a 17x10 or 17x9.5 for the rear. probably going to get a nitto nt05 275/40/17 tire. the car is lowered (koni yellow shocks and eibach lowering springs). as far as fitment and tire size goes, which size rim would be a better choice? 9.5 or 10"? thanks guys!

Either one will work and both require rolling the fender. The tire will sit a little wider on on the 10, so you may have to roll a touch more.

FWIW, I used to run 275's on +38 9.5" RPF1's. Currently, I am running 275's on +42 10's and perfer the way the tire sits on the 10's.
