What kind of wheels are these?
A new thread on the race was started in the lounge area. I have not read any new developments on this.
Tom, glad you're enjoying your new motor. My FMIC setup is causing my motor to run a bit warm during hard driving @ drivers eds with ambient temps in the high 70s. Gotta figure out how to duct the rad

Damn, that post was from 3 months ago... hehehe. But anyhow, I am glad to see that you are giving an honest review of your front mount IC. So many times, people spend a lot of cash on their car, to the point that they want to believe that it was well spent so they falsely say "oh, it's great... it works really good" when in reality they know maybe it's not that great after all. Anyhow, I'm not implying this is you. Just wanted to commend you on giving us all an honest feedback on switching to the front mount. As for my M2 Med SMIC, the only problem for me is heatsoak when I get stuck in traffic and the vehicle speed is very low or when I park the car for an hour (like when going to the gym) and I come out and the under-hood heat has soaked the IC. I keep my PFC commander set with with the air temp displayed and I will sometimes see it go to 45 or 50C. But once I get up to speed and drive for about 2 minutes, the intake temps cool right down to about 30C on an avg day. Water temps stay at 190F.
So overall, I am very happy with the M2 Med SMIC.
I am going to be dyno'ing the car at XS-Engineering here in CA within the next month or so. We're expecting about 400HP to the wheels with my new street port engine and TO4E single turbo. Should be fun

For everyone else, sorry... I don't know why we're talking about this in the wheels forum.
