What kind of spacers do I need?
Sorry about the noob thread here. I've read through just about all the stickies and I really don't have an answer. I'm kind of a newb when it comes to tires and wheels so I'd appreciate some help
I have a set of fittipaldi rims 16x7.5 They might be 16x8 I am really not sure and I am having the hardest time finding out. They came with the car when I bought them and I can't find the reciept or anything with the stuff the guy gave me. I can't find **** about fitti's on the web either. They are laguanas in case anyone knows.
Anyway, I had a set of 225/50/16 on them before.
Well I had kind of an accident and had to brake really really hard and it screwed the tires up. Ground flat spots into the fonts. At least I missed the guy.
So I have this set of 255/50/16 dunlop sp8000s that were mounted ont he stock rims. I just went and had them traded oout and moutned... and of course they rub.
Can I remedy this with spacers or is this combination just not going to work at all?
If its time to get new tires, anyone want to buy a set of the above tires with less than 500 miles on them?
